Using the Clipart
All original illustrations are created using Adobe Illustrator and are available as vector format files which can be scaled up or down to fit your needs without loss of resolution. Great for print media! Available as WMF (Windows Metafile) and as PDF (Portable Document Format).
The same illustrations are also available as PNG (Portable Network Graphics) files with transparent backgrounds - best for your website!
Macintosh users: If you want to use one of the images that you see on the web pages in an Mail email message, you can just drag it from your browser window over to your email message window.
Safari defaults to displaying PDF in a browser window instead of downloading the file. To download the PDF, just option-click on the link. If you are using Word or Pages, all you need to do then is drag the pdf file from the Finder window and drop it into your document.
PDF, WMF or Bitmap?
If you want to use the clipart in a document that you will print –
Mac users: choose PDF.
PDF will work with Apple Pages and Keynote documents as well as with Microsoft Word documents.
Windows users: choose WMF to use the clip art in Microsoft Office documents.
If you want to use the clipart on your web page, choose Bitmap.
All bitmap files are PNG files with transparent backgrounds and will work on both the Mac and on Windows. Bitmap files can be resized to be smaller but should not be resized to be larger.
